Registering for CUBAR 2019 is a three step process.
Step 1: Application
- Complete the CUBAR 2019 Application online.
- The CUBAR committee will review the application to ensure the boat meets the criteria for CUBAR participants.
- You will be notified by the CUBAR committee whether your application has been accepted.
Step 2: Registration (To be completed only after receipt of accepted application by CUBAR committee)
- Complete the CUBAR 2019 Registration form online (will be sent as a link with your acceptance by the committee).
- Payment is due with Registration form completion (refund schedule will apply).
Step 3: Waiver and Release of Liability
- All participants (captain, owner, crew, children) must sign and submit the SDYC General Waiver & Release of Liability
- Waiver due at Registration in November at SDYC
What’s Included With Your Registration Fee?
The entry fee includes:
- Training Weekend – October 5 & 6 – two days packed with seminars on cruising in Mexico, safety, communications, weather, etc.
- Operations Manual – all the details of the cruise, port info, contacts, routes, waypoints, anchorages, preparation details.
- Program – a “yearbook” of all of the boats that participate
- Immigration processing – not the actual fees to the government, but help with all of the paperwork.
- Courtesy safety inspection of the vessel prior to departure
- Send off party the evening before departure
- Arrival Parties in Ensenada, San Jose Del Cabo, and La Paz
- Cool CUBAR swag – hats, tote bag, shirts, burgee.
- The ability to hang out with 40 – 50 other boats (we are expecting 10 – 12 Nordhavns), meet 200 or so new friends that have a passion for cruising, and enjoy the company and camaraderie of your fellow CUBARISTAs.
Entry fee for CUBAR – $990. The experience you will have – priceless.
